TakeSheet provides the ability to export banking journals in CSV format, giving your finance team a complete record of all journal entries for a trading period in a format that can be used for review, filing or import into your accounting platform.

What the Export Contains

The CSV export provides a full overview of the banking journals for the trading period, including:

  • All debit and credit entries

  • GL posting accounts assigned to each line item

  • GST and tax amounts per line item

How to Export

To export the banking journals for a trading period, navigate to the Banking module for the relevant period and select the CSV export option. The file will download directly to your device and can be opened in any standard spreadsheet application.

Tip: Exporting journals after each trading period is integrated is good practice β€” it gives your finance team a permanent, portable record of the journal entries that can be cross-referenced against your accounting platform at any time.
